Cecil Su Chee Meng

Cecil has more than 8 years of diversified experience in IT, audit and consulting with proven expertise in information security, auditing and compliance, IT management and governance, enterprise risk management, security assessments, network security design/architecture and hands on administration of complex IT environments.

As head of the Technology Advisory unit at Grant Thornton Singapore, Cecil has led various engagement teams on projects including technical security assessments, ISMS audits, business process audits and providing consulting services in the areas of IT strategy and governance, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning for clients spanning across various industries.

His extra-curricular roles include being the Chapter Lead for the Singapore Honeynet Project, member of the ITSC NSSWG (Network Security Standards Working Group), elected member of the Global OWASP Educational committee and co-opted Council member of AISP.

Wong Onn Chee

Onn Chee is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer in Resolvo Systems, a leading information security and open standards infrastructure firm in Singapore. He has led numerous large-scale projects, primarily in the government and defence sectors. His areas of expertise include IT infrastructure and security strategy, information security management, identity management and network security, He also possess vast experience in large-scale infrastructure and identity management projects, which include implementation of a Data Grid in a national library; upgrade of identity management system in one of Singapore banks; one of the largest Linux server migration in Asia Pacific; the largest deployment of OpenOffice in the world; and, numerous secure thin clients architecture projects.

Onn Chee is a founding member of the first Vice-President of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Singapore Chapter (http://www.issa.org.sg), the largest international, not-for-profit association for security professionals. He was also a former member of the Center of Internet Security (US) (http://www.cisecurity.org) which provides well-recognized security benchmarks for various systems which are commonly used by US Federal Government and private organizations. Onn Chee is also the Current Singapore chapter president of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) (http://www.owasp.org/) and a co-organizer of the Security Meetup Group in Singapore. Onn Chee is frequently invited to speak in information security conferences here in Singapore.

Other than being a information security professional, Onn Chee is also trained in BS 7799/ISO 17799, ISO 9000 and ITIL. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. In 2007, Onn Chee was appointed as the President of International Association of Software Architect (IASA), Singapore Chapter.

Ching Tim Meng

Tim Meng is the founder and the Lead Consultant of BlueCap Consulting Pte Ltd, a boutique information security consulting company based in Singapore. He has 12 years of extensive experience in the information security industry. He has performed numerous penetration tests, systems technical review, network architecture review, information security training, policy review and technical risk management advisory work. The clients he worked for include global financial institutions, government bodies, multi-national companies, educational institutions and network service providers. Tim Meng was formerly the lead consultant on information security for Cable&Wireless, PIPC and Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for all pre-sales and delivery roles for the Asia-Pacific region. He has also previously worked in consulting positions for both PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, providing similar information security services to clients.

Tim Meng is currently the Chairperson of the Security Controls and Security Services Working Group (Singapore representative body for ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 4) responsible for developing and reviewing network and application security standards. He has contributed regularly to Singapore’s security professional group ,SIG^2, by performing technical researches and delivering talks to the members, As a seasoned public speaker, Tim Meng has delivered a diverse range of information security topics in several international conferences and seminars on the topics of malware handling strategy, VoIP and wireless network hardening.

In the year 2008, he was awarded the Information Security Leadership Award from (ISC)2 under the “IT Security Practitioner” category for the recognition of his contribution and achievements in the workforce improvement of Information Security professionals in Asia-Pacific.

Tim Meng received his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a qualified practicing ISO/IEC 270001 auditor.
